Inspector/Packer - $18.00/hour - 7am-7pm - Mauser Packaging Solutions : Job Details

Tasks Read packaging documents to determine product specifications. Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of products to standards. Remove finished packaged items from the machine and separate rejected items. Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor. Stock and sort products for packaging or filling machine operation, and replenish packaging supplies, such as wrapping paper, plastic sheets, boxes, cartons, ink, trays, or labels. Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material. Clean and remove damaged or otherwise inferior materials to prepare raw products for processing (break down empty handle boxes). Monitor the production line, watching for problems such as hazards, pile-ups, and product jams Stack finished packaged items, or wrap protective material around each item, and pack the items in cartons or containers (hand stretch wrap finished pallet).
