RK&K is seeking dedicated and experienced Roadway Construction Inspectors for various projects in Wilmington and Georgetown, Delaware. CEI/Construction Inspectors conduct field inspection and monitoring activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Candidates should have at least three years of inspection experience, including roadway and structure construction methods, materials, standards, and specifications. Training will be provided for qualified candidates with construction-related experience.

• Conduct field inspections of roadway structures to ensure safety and compliance
• Engage in problem-solving to provide technical evaluations and solutions
• Maintain records, schedules, and reports
• Manage multiple project assignments
• Work independently with limited oversight
• Communicate effectively with project management, clients, stakeholders, and contractors
• Use Microsoft Office products proficiently

• Experience on live and closed construction sites, preferably in commercial or transportation facilities
• Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to learn advanced safety protocols
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• DelDOT material certifications (highly preferred)
• At least three years of roadway/building inspection experience
• Knowledge of construction management and QA/QC methods
