Energy Ogre is a technology company in the energy industry that helps Texans manage their electricity. We shop, we manage, they save! We are a weird fun unique pack of Ogres in search of a Inside Sales Representative.

**Reports to**

Vice President of Business Development **Summary/Objective**

We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken inside sales representative to join our sales team. The inside sales representative will be responsible for contacting leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You should be able to close sales and meet targets. **Essential Functions**

* Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.

* Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information per email.

* Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.

* Closing sales and achieving sales targets.

**Competencies**

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

* Excellent phone and cold calling skills.

* Strong listening and sales skills.

* Ability to achieve targets.

**Physical Demands**

* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

**Travel Required**

**Required Education and Experience**

* Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day

* Proven inside sales experience

**Preferred Education and Experience**

* 1-3 years of experience working in customer service

* Familiarity with office software and phone systems

* High school diploma or equivalent.

**Additional Eligibility Requirements**

* Willingness to work varied shifts.
