Summary: This position confirms information presented on Single-Family Residential and Offsite Utility Construction Plans meets Agency criteria, matches Plat information, accurately labels the proposed design, and meets basic land development design criteria using Autodesk Civil 3D tools and applying engineering fundamentals.

General Responsibilities:

• Confirm design meets Agency and basic Civil Engineering criteria
• Annotate Civil 3D Base File and Proposed Surface to utilize in the Submittal Plan Review
• Confirm Construction Plans match Final Plat information
• Review Single Family Residential Underground Utilities and Paving Submittal Plans
• Identify Utility Clearances and Constructability Concerns of Underground Utilities
• Understand and Identify Construction Details
• Ability to Calculate / Analyze Slopes and Grades for Pavement Complying with Criteria while considering Natural Topography
• Write a Summary for each Submittal Plan Review
• Other Assigned Duties as required

Required Education:

• Minimum of High School or Technical School Training with courses in Computer-Aided Drafting or Equivalent Experience

Required Experience:

• 1 or more years of drafting experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Ability to build strong relationships
• Flexibility to change work assignments on short notice and under intensive deadlines
