Infrastructure Engineer (Virtualization) - J. J. Keller & Associates : Job Details

Design, deploy, and manage virtual desktop environment (VMWare, Microsoft) Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtualization, including VM provisioning, migration, and performance tuning. Monitor and optimize performance of virtual machines and host systems. Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for virtual desktop infrastructure. Collaborate with Infrastructure, Operations, and Security teams to ensure seamless integration. Maintain documentation of system and storage configurations, procedures, and best practices. Ensure data security and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Participate in capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades. Automate routine tasks using scripting languages. Provide Tier 2/3 support for storage-related incidents and service requests May manage vendor activities. Provides leadership and direction for other team members on projects.
