About the Team: The Launch team operates at the intersection of all major aspects of Terran R, including stages, payloads, ground systems, launch, landing, and refurbishment. About the Role: As a Civil/Structural Engineer, you will connect various internal technical teams to define architectural, structural, heavy civil, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and industrial requirements. You will act as our owner's representative to external consultants and contractors, working closely with test & launch team members, including infrastructure, fluids, electrical, command & control, mechanical, and support Test Operations during testing and operations. Your responsibilities include managing the development, design, and construction of new infrastructure projects, developing construction drawings, issuing RFPs, conducting bid evaluations, selecting subcontractors, managing contractors, and overseeing construction. You will plan and execute installation and operation of state-of-the-art test site solutions, ensuring cost and schedule targets are met in a competitive environment. About You: You are passionate about creating world-class engine and launch vehicle test sites, capable of working both independently and collaboratively. You have a strong background in field engineering, construction engineering, and project management, with a passion for turning ideas into reality. You are a proactive learner and doer, engaging across technical and operational teams to achieve outstanding results. Willingness to travel up to 25% to support ongoing projects across Relativity's sites is required. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or related field Experience with design documentation, construction drawings, bidding, contractor selection, construction management, permitting, QA/QC, and safety Experience with project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and overall construction management Experience with Architectural, Structural, Civil, and MEPF design, construction, and operation Nice to have: Understanding of construction procedures, best practices, means & methods Experience with 3D modeling software like NX, AutoCAD, or similar, and interpreting technical plans and blueprints Experience with permitting, land use, and working with government agencies Strong communication skills and customer service orientation Ability to manage multiple projects and work in dynamic environments Experience in aerospace or construction industries, with hands-on field and project management experience Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) Advanced degrees or training in related fields Experience with aerospace facilities, systems, and GSE Knowledge of FEM structural analysis, aerospace procedures, safety protocols, and government regulations Additional Requirements: Successful candidates must clear a US government background check to obtain on-site clearance at our Cape Canaveral, Florida location.
