We are searching for a skilled, energetic, and focused Information Technology Subject Matter Expert.Description: Agile5 Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Information Technology Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide specialized IT expertise to a mission-critical FBI system within its Homeland and Force Protection Business Area division. This role will support our Agile DevSecOps contract, focusing on understanding customer needs to drive new business and efficiently execute technical programs. The ideal candidate will possess superior analytical and problem-solving skills, operate independently with limited supervision, excel as a strong team player, and can establish solid working relationships with both technical staff and government customers. Information Technology (IT) Subject Matter Expert (SME) Job Duties:

• Support collaborative system delivery through configuration management, automated building, automated testing, automated deployment, and automated monitoring and notification.
• Create and maintain code comments or inline documentation where necessary to improve code readability.
• Support government personnel in the creation, modification, and documentation of all enhancement efforts, including system design documents, standard operating procedures, operations and maintenance manuals/procedures, software development plans, and related documentation.
• Deliver solutions using repeatable infrastructure as code (IaC), controlled by configuration management, promoting higher quality systems that can operate in heterogeneous processing environments.
• Use a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for automated software deployments to demonstrate software efficiencies, automated testing, change management process, and security compliance.
• Develop, maintain, and improve software systems using cloud-native development approaches, utilizing backend and frontend technologies.
• Design, develop, deliver, and maintain software systems that conform to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, as amended by the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (P.L. 105-220).
• Utilize and have experience with Agile project management software such as Jira and Confluence to enable teams to dynamically plan, track, document, and manage workflows and system reference material.
• Perform user interface, user experience, and front-end design while expediting requirements and the customer approval process by high-fidelity mockups.

Security Clearance Requirements: Active Secret (S) or higher clearance level required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying.Experience Requirements: Requires a minimum of ten (10) years of overall experience in IT support, including a minimum of five (5) years of experience managing IT projects and programs. Candidates must have proven experience managing with DevOps concepts, exceptional technical aptitude, and effective written and verbal communication skills. They should also have experience monitoring program priorities, managing teams to ensure goals are completed on time, and identifying potential risks. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively and independently to develop creative solutions within a small team environment and possess strong communication skills. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Program Management / Business Administration or equivalent IT related field preferred. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Desired Skills / Qualifications: An advanced degree in an equivalent IT related field is preferred. Experience with SAFe and ITIL is highly desirable. Experience in communications, Agile, and DevSecOps; hardware/software fabrication; Cloud, platform system integration; and/or test and evaluation is a plus.
