JOB DESCRIPTION-ServiceNow Sr. Software Developer- Denver Or Minneapolis

Follows company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs. Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents to customize software that meets application requirements. Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback. Collaborates with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency. Participates in architecture, design and code reviews. Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation. Analyzes systems specifications and designs, develops, modifies, and installs highly complex and customized software. Actively participate in the escalation of live errors and service problems to limit downtime and resolve problems. Recognize and solve inconsistencies in the detailed technical specifications and propose changes. The need for the position will flow the life cycle of the modules and enhancements that are being implemented.

Open to primarily remote work, with the flexibility to attend on-site as needed based on business requirements.

• PM tools and Methodologies Jira, Wiki, RUP, Waterfall, and Agile Software Development, MS Project
• Java frameworks and Environments EAD4J, Spring, WSAD, Eclipse, Visual Studio, UNIX, TSO, and ISPF
• Source code management ClearCase, PVCS, Git, Subversion, and Endevor
• Databases and ETL SQL Server, MySQL, Access, Oracle, DB2, DTS, and DataStage
• Other ServiceNow, Visio, Crystal Reports, Load Runner, ERwin, Rational Rose, and Enterprise Architect

Education:

Bachelor of Science

Certifications:

• Certified Application Developer, ServiceNow
• Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow
• ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service
• ITIL 4 Edition Foundation in IT Service Management
