Information Technology (IT) Leader - Valley Queen Cheese Factory : Job Details

Position SummaryThe Leader of IT will provide strategic leadership and oversight of all IT functions, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, data governance, and technology support services. This role will be responsible for aligning IT strategies with organizational goals, leading digital transformation efforts, and ensuring the integrity, availability, and security of all information systems.Key Responsibilities* Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy to support current operations and future growth.* Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure, software systems, and hardware.* Lead cybersecurity initiatives to protect systems and data against internal and external threats.* Responsible for support of Valley Queen's 24/7/365 digital-based-manufacturing-environment.* Evaluate, select, and manage vendors and external partners for IT services, solutions, and support.* Supervise and mentor IT team members, ensuring a high-performing, service-oriented department.* Monitor IT performance metrics and service levels; continuously identify opportunities for improvement.* Manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective investments in technology.* Collaborate across departments to understand their technological needs and provide appropriate solutions.* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Qualifications* Required:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.* Minimum of 8 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.* Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.* Proven experience managing IT teams and cross-functional projects.* Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).* Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.* Preferred:* Master's degree in IT, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field.* Experience leading major system upgrades, migrations, or enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.* Experience supporting a digital-based-manufacturing-environment.* Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, ITIL, or similar.Working Conditions* Typical office environment.* Some travel may be required for vendor meetings or training.* Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be necessary to support critical IT initiatives.Monday - Friday8 AM to 5 PM
