Information Technology (IT) Customer Service Specialist

This position is based in Norfolk, VA, and requires a Secret clearance.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting basic IT troubleshooting and resolving customer issues.
- Assessing calls and directing them to appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Screening calls, visitors, and correspondence.
- Researching and resolving IT-related customer incidents.
- Identifying opportunities to improve customer service and resolving problems.
- Analyzing data to support problem resolution.
- Updating and maintaining support databases.
- Operating IT tools and systems, including data retrieval and organization.
- Entering customer data into IT systems and guiding customers in their use.
- Managing IT service requests and tracking their resolution.
- Preparing reports and requests related to IT support.
- Supporting cellular device management and audits.
- Assisting with basic accounting related to cellular services.
- Serving as liaison with third-party vendors for cellular and legacy systems support.
- Supporting office and divisional tasks, including correspondence, reports, and supplies management.
Minimum qualifications include at least one year of IT Help Desk/Service Desk experience, proficiency with Windows 10, Office 2016, Internet Explorer, SharePoint 2013, and strong communication skills. Candidates must meet DoD 8570.01-M credential requirements.
