Information Technology (IT) Analyst InternHybrid Work ScheduleBuffalo, NY Merchants Insurance Group, a leading Property and Casualty Insurer in the Northeast, is looking for is looking for a highly motivated IT Analyst Intern interested in learning and applying their skills in a corporate capacity. The Hybrid work schedule requires 8 full days per month in the office, with the option to work the remaining days at home or in the office. • Assist in working with business and technology team members to create formal business and technology documentation.
• Participate in project teams with responsibilities for testing changes to identify bugs and review data accuracy. In addition, this individual may be asked to evaluate technology and recommend solutions as assigned.
• Work on specific assignments with Project Management, Business Analyst, Finance, and IT Operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Candidates should be pursuing a related IT, finance or business degree or career.
• An interest in pursuing a career with a property and casualty insurance company is desired.
• Full-time, paid internship at $17.00 hourly starting May 2024 through August 2024 based on school schedule. A minimum commitment of 2-3 months is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as a team in a hybrid work environment
• Has a willingness to take on a diverse set of projects and deliver high quality work
