Information Technology Assurance Specialist - ManTech : Job Details

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Technology Assurance Specialist I to join our team in El Segundo, CA.

The Information Technology Assurance Specialist's primary function is to work within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting SSC and AFSPC Operational Units. The position will provide day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Establish complex operational software configuration controls and system interfaces for assigned computer systems.
• Maintain file servers, firewalls, network access, security monitoring systems, and system documentation.
• Analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Prepare systems for operational use and support operational tests.
• Review, prepare, and update AIS accreditation packages, notify customers of changes affecting AIS accreditation/certification, perform AIS self-inspections, identify vulnerabilities, implement countermeasures, and ensure AIS and network nodes are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies.
• Provide security coordination and review of all system test plans, guest networks, client support, help desk, troubleshooting, and personal-issue laptop support.
• Perform VTC system administration, scheduling, configuration, account management, hardware/software upgrades, media control, and COMSEC account management.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• 2+ years of relevant SCI or SAP experience.
• Must obtain a CompTIA Sec+ certificate within 6 months of hire.
• Complete training on JSIG and RMF ISCM (if supported organization requires development of AIS accreditation packages).

Preferred Qualifications :

• 1+ years of SAP-related experience highly desired.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, data backup, and communication security (COMSEC).
• Knowledge of JAFAN, DCID, DODIIS standards, and security policies for legacy systems.
• Experience with PL1 & PL2 systems; cross-domain solutions experience desired.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and interact effectively with DOD personnel and industry partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Clearance Requirements :

• Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
• Willing to submit to a polygraph.

Physical Requirements :

• Must be able to remain stationary 50% of the time.

• Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and customers.
