Aspire Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Management of Information Technology department is requesting to hire a new applicant for the position Information Technology Technician

This position requires training and experience leading to competencies needed to independently provide technical support to computer users in an assigned office area. This includes, but is not limited to, electronics troubleshooting, analyzing information, judgment, client relationships, equipment maintenance, reporting skills, confidentiality, quality focus, results-driven approach, supply management, informing others, and comprehensive knowledge of both personal computer (PC) and Local/Wireless Area Networks (LAN/WLAN), server administration, hardware and software management, CCTV installation and configuration, management of Virtual Private Networks, network performance tuning, LAN knowledge, problem solving, strategic planning, multi-tasking, coordination, technical understanding, quick learning, technical zeal, oral communication skills, and decision-making. The candidate should possess and apply skills in customer service and interpersonal relations, and be capable of installing and supporting PC and LAN hardware and software. A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technology and methodologies is essential.

ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Resolve all issues related to desktop management.
  • Manage Active Directory, Electronic Medical Record, and agency-wide application users.
  • Perform information control reviews, including system development standards, operating procedures, system security, programming controls, communication controls, backup and disaster recovery, and system maintenance.
  • Maintain and develop computerized audit software.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and information clearly and concisely for management.
  • Troubleshoot various computer issues.
  • Provide technical support on-site, via phone, or email.
  • Analyze work orders, plan daily schedules, investigate complaints, and conduct tests for existing accounts.
  • Establish service by studying system requirements, ordering and gathering components, completing installations, and performing acceptance tests.
  • Maintain personal equipment by following operating instructions, troubleshooting, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
  • Document service and installation actions through forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Provide training to staff on necessary resources for daily tasks.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • GENERAL NATURE OF WORK: Under general supervision, install, configure, and support local and wide area networks, internet systems, computers, desktops, and mobile devices. Perform maintenance to ensure network availability.

    QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a related field with one year of related experience, or an associate degree with three years of experience, or five years of related experience, or one year at the lower level or equivalent position (ITP040).

    Pre-employment physical, fingerprint criminal records investigation, drug testing, and, for males aged 18-26, proof of registration with the Selective Services System are required. An official transcript from the college that granted your degree is also required.
