We are seeking an Information Systems Security Officer with a TS/SCI w/ Poly to support a future contract with our Engineering Services and Solutions Division out of Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide management support for a program's Information Assurance requirements.
  • Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce Information System Security policies, standards, and methodologies.
  • Maintain operational security posture for an Information System or program to ensure policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.
  • Assist with managing security aspects of the Information System and perform day-to-day security operations.
  • Evaluate security solutions to meet processing information security requirements.
  • Perform vulnerability/risk assessments to support security authorization.
  • Support configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
  • Manage changes to systems and assess their security impact.
  • Prepare and review documentation such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs).
  • Support security authorization activities in compliance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Qualifications:
  • Ten (10) years of work-related experience in security authorization.
  • Knowledge of security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, encryption tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with commercial security products, security authorization techniques, incident management, and PKI and authorization services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or IT Engineering; or an additional four (4) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • DoD 8570 compliance with IAM II is required.
Compensation:

The proposed salary range for this position is $200,000 to $220,000, influenced by factors such as location, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
