Information Systems Engineer - Helion : Job Details

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Manufacturing Information Systems Engineer to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about applying coding, database, and application development skills to real-world manufacturing environments. You will support and enhance digital systems that enable data-driven decision making, process automation, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve applications that support manufacturing processes and information systems.
• Design, query, and manage databases to ensure accurate, accessible, and secure production data.
• Collaborate with engineers, IT, and production teams to understand system requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Create dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualizations to support performance tracking and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and database issues.
• Learn and adapt quickly to new technologies, programming languages, and manufacturing system platforms.
• Support system integration efforts between ERP, MES, PLCs, and other manufacturing technologies.
• Document system configurations, coding standards, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Coding ability in languages such as Python, C#, Java, or similar.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with web application development or visualization tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow within the manufacturing technology space.
