Become our primary representative, and help our customers prepare for and maintain the Cyber Security Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). Job Description InfoDefense is seeking a seasoned Information Security Officer (ISO) in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to be a trusted advisor and drive customer satisfaction for our customers. A successful candidate must have a strong customer management background with a focus on cyber security and compliance, exceptional written communication skills, and the ability to work independently to implement customer solutions. As a hybrid work position, this is a great opportunity for the right candidate to apply their exceptional customer management skills to achieve CMMC compliance. Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and the InfoDefense Service Delivery team
- Collaborate with the Sales Account Manager to ensure customer success
- Provide security consulting and risk assessments
- Oversee cyber security program implementation while managing deliverable schedules
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulations
- Coordinate and lead scenario-based incident response exercises
- Interpret regulatory and contractual security compliance requirements for customers
- Complete vendor security surveys for customers
- Define requirements for service-related orders with InfoDefense technology partners
- Schedule meetings, create agendas, and document meeting minutes
Qualifications
- 3 years of customer-facing ISO experience
- Fundamental understanding of NIST SP 800-171, CMMC 2.0, or any other regulatory standards
- Strong knowledge of network security, Microsoft 365, and endpoint protection
- Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies
- Cyber Incident Response Experience
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Industry Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, Network+. CCNA, CEH, CISA, CISM, Fortinet NSE4, Microsoft 365
- Military service is a big plus
