Information Security Engineer - RiverView Health : Job Details

The Information Security Engineer is responsible for protecting Riverview Health's systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. This role involves monitoring security operations, identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security solutions, and responding to incidents to safeguard confidential and sensitive information. The Engineer works closely with the IS team, our security partner and stakeholders to ensure compliance with HIPAA, PCI DSS, and other regulatory standards while maintaining a proactive approach to Information Security risk management. Job Responsibilities Threat Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor security logs, network traffic, and system alerts to detect potential cyber threats. Incident Response: Investigate security incidents, assess their impact, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
