Information Desk Attendant - Mayo Clinic : Job Details

The Information Attendant serves as a key frontline representative at the Mayo Clinic Campus, ensuring a professional, welcoming experience for Patients, Visitors, and staff. This role involves greeting and assisting individuals with courtesy while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA and Mayo Clinic policies. Attendants provide accurate wayfinding support, access and print Patient Appointment Guides (PA - Gs), Verify patient information, and manage requests for wheelchair transport, oxygen, and other needs using the EPIC system. Responsibilities also include placing patients in wheelchairs and escorting them to safe locations for pickup or further care. They report environmental concerns such as spills to help maintain a clean and safe facility and are trained to respond appropriately in emergencies, including calling codes and staying calm under pressure.
