Job Summary
The Reporting and Analytics Unit within the California Department of Public Health Center for Infectious Diseases Informatics Branch (IB) is recruiting for a Informatics Specialist II to join an exciting team developing innovative solutions to strengthen CDPH's public health data ecosystem. The incumbentwill join the team leading the design and implementation of reportable communicable disease prevention and control reporting and analytics activities. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $69,700 - $149,900 (Annual Rate).

Department Description
The Informatics Specialist hired will contribute to infectious disease work across the Center for Infectious Disease (CID) in CDPH. This specific position will join staff in the Informatics Branch of the Division of Communicable Disease Control. The scope of the Informatics Branch's work includes managing, analyzing, and reporting on data from many systems including laboratory testing, cases, vaccinations, genetic testing, hospitalizations, and more.
