Schedule: Full-Time

Shift: Day, M-F, 8am-5pm (Hybrid, may work from home 2-3 days weekly)

The role you'll contribute:

The Research Informatics Solutions Lead works as an integral member of the Research Data Services Core guiding the responsible deployment and use of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems for Research. Provides support for software related to data management systems that support the science and operations of the AdventHealth Research Institute (AHRI). Focuses on executing technical and operational objectives of projects and identifying opportunities for improvements to research data management platforms. Coordinates the implementation of AHRI's software applications and related hardware, supporting and maintaining these systems in collaboration with AdventHealth IT (AIT) Research Information Systems (ResIS).

The Lead interacts with AHRI faculty, scientists, and staff to provide training, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. Provides guidance to the AHRI team, including Research Information Systems teams and the Information Systems Coordinator (ISC).

Develops and maintains SOPs and training materials related to Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and data management. Provides technical support, training, and collaborates with research teams on electronic source and case report forms. Oversees data-entry activities and works with scientists on Data Management Plans and budgets. Participates in training programs to stay current with industry trends.

Acts as a customer service ambassador, maintaining respectful relationships.

• Uses EDC and data management software in accordance with organizational policies.
• Assists with database queries and report generation.
• Develops data sharing and transfer applications for investigators.
• Maintains proficiency with all data management software and serves as a technical liaison, providing training and support.
• Identifies and resolves issues with data management software, escalating when necessary.
• Develops SOPs related to data management software use.
• Ensures data integrity by overseeing data entry activities.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Management Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in Electronic Case Report Form development.

Preferred:

• Experience in programming and data processing in research or healthcare applications.
• Experience with Research Informatics related to biological and clinical data collection, storage, retrieval, and export.
