75650– INFECTIOUS DISEASES FACULTYThe University of Iowa Department of Internal Medicine Division of Infectious Diseases is seeking an ABIM board eligible or board-certified Infectious Diseases physician at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor. This position will involve inpatient and outpatient consultative care for general Infectious Disease patients at the University of Iowa Heath Care Medical Center on the University campus, Medical Center Downtown (MCD; community setting), and possibly limited time at Medical Center North Liberty (Orthopedic-ID consultation). Participation in an antimicrobial stewardship program at MCD may be included as well.Individuals under consideration must have an MD or equivalent degree. Candidates must be ABIM board eligible, or board certified in Infectious Diseases.Desirable qualifications include evidence of strong clinical skills and a record of excellent interpersonal skills and positive interactions with students, staff and faculty.
