Industrial Painter Helper - The Onin Group : Job Details

?nin Staffing is hiring Industrial Painter Helpers to join our client's team in Clayton, NC! This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in industrial painting while working in a supportive, team-focused environment.

As a Painter Helper, you'll assist in preparing and painting skids and custom containers, while learning the trade and building valuable skills for long-term growth.

Location: Clayton, NC

Pay Rate: $16.50$17.50/hr (Depending on Experience)

Shift: MondayThursday, 6:00 AM4:45 PM (Friday Overtime as needed)

• Assist with painting skids and custom containers
• Prep materials by sanding, grinding, or cleaning surfaces
• Help mix and apply paint under supervision
• Move and position materials (forklift/crane training available)
• Keep work area clean and follow safety procedures
• Support the team to meet daily production goals

• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred (not required)
• Willingness to learn painting skills and work with hand tools
• Comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods
• Team player with good communication and work ethic
• Experience with paint prep, forklifts, or PPE is a plus

• Fast-paced industrial setting
• Requires standing, bending, and lifting
• PPE provided (respirator use may be part of the job)
