Industrial & Mechanical Cleaning Tech - Owens Corning : Job Details

Position will include cleaning in wet or dusty areas of plant. Operating Heavy Equipment such as a skid steer, vac truck, fork lift and other tools as necessary to perform following: Cleaning during down days Cleaning wool & build up out of Bates duct work Cleaning out of shot pit 2-3 times per week cleaning/changing filters in a Bates Chamber General Line & Plant cleaning as directed Wool cleaning including but not limited to collection chamber, under line, edge trim platform External plant cleaning including but not limited to rock house, APC area, dragline, street sweeping Properly disposes of any wastes generated Makes proper notification on environmental upset, releases, and/or hazardous material spills according to procedures Participates in waste elimination processes, including standard work Checks schedule for label requirements Disposes of off quality materials, scrap, sludge, and other debris.
