Siemens Mobility is investing $60 million in a first-of-its-kind, 300,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Horseheads, NY. This site will produce the American Pioneer 220the first true high-speed trainsets built in North Americaserving Brightline Wests Las Vegas to Southern California route. The facility will create approximately 300 high-quality jobs and redefine the future of U.S. rail manufacturing! Due to growth, we are adding an Industrial Engineer to our organization with a focus on production planning for our new product line. Our Rolling Stock product offerings include light rail vehicles, electric locomotives, diesel-electric locomotives, and passenger coaches. The core manufacturing processes include extensive carshell welding activities, bogie fabrication and assembly, electrical subassembly, finishing and paint, and final assembly.
