Industrial Engineer - Assembly Support - Spirit AeroSystems : Job Details

Analyzes and designs sequence of operations workflow to improve efficiency of production facilities and equipment; and establishes methods for maximizing utilization of production facilities and personnel, and optimization of product flow. Conduct quarterly headcount analysis based on production rates, identifying opportunities and risks; develop headcount models for various what-if scenarios to support strategic planning and staffing decisions. Develops schedule analysis, recovery flows and risk analysis to meet customer delivery dates or provide improved dates. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. Based on these studies, develops and implements optimized product flow. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities. Develops and provides basis of estimate (BOE) for standard work changes and new work implementation.
