Responsibilities
Lead and provide solutions for Cabin industrialization deliverables on new programs as part of the integrated program team.Develop and execute industrialization plans in accordance with Cabin standards and program goals.Create, update, and improve the production element of the industrial dossier, including Manufacturing Bill of Materials, Routers, and Standardized work instructions.Contribute technically to the Design and Manufacturing teams to develop optimal production processes.Provide feedback to Design for DFMA and propose alternative designs based on DFMA knowledge.Ensure execution of plans for design, manufacture, and implementation of new tools or prototypes.Develop cycle time and Takt Time standards for programs or production lines.Maintain industrialization metrics aligned with Cabin KPIs and communicate performance regularly.Analyze and manage industrial process and product risks during development.Champion and implement Lean principles at a Black Belt level or equivalent.Understand and apply regulatory, customer, and company specifications.Manage machining, assembly lines, BOM creation, and line layout concepts for the Cabin BU.Apply advanced manufacturability concepts to engineering drawings and models.Possess in-depth knowledge of assembly line and composites manufacturing.Provide guidance and training to lower-level engineers as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a regulated engineering design or production environment, with 1 year of technical leadership.
- Fluent in ERP systems; working knowledge of CATIA V5 & Smarteam.
- Deep aerospace industry knowledge, including materials and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and models.
- Experience with LEAN tools; Green Belt certification preferred.
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of primary processes like CNC machining, Layup, and Crush Core.
- Additional skills: Advanced CATIA ability, composites manufacturing.
