Job Description

The Industrial Electrician will troubleshoot, repair and inspect a wide variety of equipment, in both indoor and outdoor applications, in a continuous operational environment.

The Industrial Electrician should have:

* Knowledge of electrical principles and wiring specification codes

* Knowledge of and experience with PLCs

* Experience working with motors, transformers, circuit breakers, electronic controls and other various equipment

The Industrial Electrician will:

* Analyze and interpret one lines, wiring diagrams, sketches and diagrams to select a logistical approach to troubleshooting, tracing, and testing circuits

* Modify, maintain and install PLC programs

* Perform electrical isolation of equipment for safety of self and others, while minimizing interference to operations

* Advise operators, mechanics and other electrical maintenance personnel of standard operating procedures and requirements for electrical equipment and controls

Qualifications

* 2 year degree in Electrical Technology OR 5 years relevant work experience

* High School Graduate or GED

* Basic PC literacy (Word, email, data entry)

* Able to lift 40 lbs. on a regular basis
