What's The Job?Training Team Engagement: Partner with trainer peers weekly in training team meetings, peer training review and content development review and collaboration. 1:1s meetings with Training Program Manager and Site Managers. Biweekly meetings with Supervisors to review employee skills development. Robust engagement and partnership to upskill employees and pivot when the need arises. Timely and transparent sharing of records, tracking, training agendas, schedules, travel plans and reactive changes as required.
Curriculum Development and Delivery: Creating, collaborating with other creators, delivering, and continuously improving training curriculum for skills related to industrial manufacturing, electrical maintenance and theory.
Classroom Training: Providing classroom training on electrical theory, tools, equipment, systems and processes in manufacturing.
Hands-on Training: Providing practical, hands-on experience with industrial electrical tools, equipment and systems in the field, simulation lab or shop environment.
Remote Training: Providing remote, on-screen training in a classroom setting to local and distance learners.
Online Training: Assigning modules, overseeing and proctoring learners participating in online training.
Recordkeeping and Tracking: Recording and maintaining training documents, tracking classroom training coursework and hours are core responsibilities of this role.
Safety Focus: Emphasizing and enforcing strict adherence to company, OSHA and client safety standards and procedures related to electrical work. Commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of electrical safety regulations and procedures.
Evaluation and Feedback: Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing effective assessment strategies in partnership with Supervisor and other managers.
Curriculum Updates: Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and incorporating them into the training curriculum. Solid knowledge of NEC standards.
Operations Partnership: Partner with employees Supervisor to
Employee Support: Providing guidance and mentorship to students throughout their training program.
Collaboration: Working with other trainers and training program manager, departments, and partners to ensure training programs meet the needs of the team. Pivoting to address concerns and solve problems as needed.
