Description

Global Engineering Services (GES) NA Ops Engineering is searching for an innovative and solutions-oriented engineering project leader to develop and deliver next-generation, world-class sortation and transportation systems. The team will support retrofit designs for first mile retrofits and develop controls & solutions for future projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate design and innovation efforts for the fulfillment network, including equipment specification, material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions quickly.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, influencing and negotiating with stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with senior executives, presenting technical solutions and business cases.
  • Travel up to 50% globally to interact with internal and external leaders.
    • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Design, or related field.
    • 3+ years experience in a design-related role.
    • Experience with automated material handling, robotics, and high-speed manufacturing systems.
    • Effective communication skills and ability to lead diverse teams.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Master's Degree in Engineering or related field.
    • Additional 3+ years experience in design roles.
