About the job…The Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Inspector will assess the indoor environment of residential and commercial properties throughout Monterey and Santa Cruz counties, conducting visual assessments and air quality testing. Key qualities include a positive attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and customer care skills for success and advancement.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assess water-damaged structures to provide scope of work and estimates for mitigation and remediation.
• Perform comprehensive IAQ inspections to identify potential contaminants (mainly mold).
• Process samples and communicate with third-party laboratories; interpret and explain lab results to clients and technicians.
• Generate reports based on inspection findings and lab results.
• Explain IAQ concepts, inspection procedures, and industry protocols to clients.
• Assist with mitigation and remediation work as needed.
• Follow safety practices and wear PPE as appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicle, equipment, and job site.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs safely and carry equipment upstairs/downstairs.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and team-oriented attitude.
