2025-2026 VacancyIndividual Service Plan Provider (Hourly) - Community-BasedReports To: Director of Special Education FLSA Status: Exempt 2025-2026 Salary Scales: SUMMARY The Individual Service Plan provider will provide services to students with disabilities in homeschool and private school settings. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Approaches job responsibilities with respect and professionalism;
  • Reliable attendance and prompt arrival time;
  • Provides special education services for students with disabilities;
  • Acts as special education case manager for students with disabilities (if licensed);
  • Provides instruction on individual student goals;
  • Collects data for goal progress reporting;
  • Possess the ability to understand the individual needs of all children, and provide differentiated instruction to advance the developmental levels;
  • Communicates student strengths and needs with the family;
  • Works collaboratively with the educational team;
  • Encourages self-direction and self-regulation;
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the curriculum being taught;
  • Utilizes a variety of appropriate materials and resources;
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of proven practice in working with children with disabilities;
  • Knowledge of disabilities and special education practices;
  • Ability to write correspondence, plans and other forms of communication;
  • Ability to solve problems;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of methods, including computer technology;
  • Ability to collect data on student progress;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educational team;
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year accredited college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Special Education Endorsement, Preferred Applicant who has had teaching experience must have an acceptable rating for such teaching.
