Join VMD Corp, part of Xcelerate Solutions and a leader in providing passenger and checked baggage screening services at various airports across the United States.VMD is currently seeking applicants from existing personnel performing Transportation Security Officer services at San Francisco International Airport (SFO).What you will do:Grow in a fulfilling career as a Transportation Security Officer at the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) working alongside a team of aviation security professionals. You will use your outstanding customer service and critical-thinking skills while ensuring passenger safety by identifying and preventing unsafe objects from entering onto aircraft.Responsibilities specific to this role include, but are not limited to:

• Passenger and Baggage Screening
• Operating various screening equipment.
• Communicating and interacting with travelers

What you will need:

• Be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
• Pass a computerized assessment (grammar and ability to interpret X-rays)
• Pass a medical evaluation (vision, hearing, and joint mobility exam)
• Pass pre-employment drug test
• Pass a TSA background and financial records check
• Ability to work any day, Monday – Sunday, and any shift between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM

What we offer:Competitive Compensation and on the Job Training

• Starting pay for this position is $30.38/hour after successful training and certification. Pay levels for current officers are determined based on years of service and certifications.
• No prior experience is necessary.
• Receive on-the-job training and travel accommodations for a 2-week training session in Georgia to become a certified officer.
