Incident Response Team, Network Engineer - eBay : Job Details

The position is expected to act as the first line of defense to handle and mitigate network related issues that can possibly impact eBays customer experience. The role is expected to have base level proficiency in eBays datacenter, backbone, Internet connectivity, security controls, traffic management and application stacks behaviors in order to cross correlate and troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively. The role will also need to execute basic changes in the network infrastructure to instrument organic growth and capacity restore. Ideal candidate will need to learn and understand existing mechanism and work on evolving them continually through appropriate automation and tools.
