Inbound Materials Handler - OReilly Auto Parts : Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold safety standards while operating equipment and identifying unsafe practices.
• Unpack various merchandise from trailers and trucks while verifying count accuracy against Proof of Delivery.
• Organize skids or boxes according to assigned locations on the dock and address Vendor Compliance issues as necessary.
• Receive and stock products in assigned batches from vendors and manage warehouse transfers and small package shipments.
• Efficiently utilize powered equipment to store products at various heights, ensuring proper placement in designated storage locations.
• Investigate discrepancies, confirm corrections, and finalize the batch to release inventory.
• Follow procedures for retrieving and replacing product, with and without powered equipment.
• Train new team members, ensuring they understand their responsibilities and keep up with departmental changes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Required: Basic computer skills, ability to work in a team, and strong attention to detail in matching numerical and alphabetical characters.
• Desired: High school diploma or equivalent, warehouse experience, familiarity with automotive parts, advanced computer skills, and bilingual skills (Spanish preferred).
