The Wayside Youth & Family Support Network in Lowell is looking for passionate In-Home Clinicians with a master's degree in mental health counseling, social work, or related field. We offer a competitive salary of $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year, plus a sign-on bonus!This is a clinical position and due to contract obligations requires a completed master's degree in mental health counseling, social work or related field.Brief overview of position:

  • Provide individual and family counseling using trauma-informed methods.
  • Assist caregivers in accessing resources and supporting their youth's behavioral health.
  • Develop care plans and interventions to strengthen family support.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic care.
  • Strong communication, risk management, and creative problem-solving skills required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle necessary.

Please see a detailed job description below:Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00/year + sign-on bonus (half paid after 30 days of employment and the other half paid after 90 days of employment/pro-rated for part time). What you will do:
  • Conduct individual and family counseling using trauma informed and culturally responsive interventions for youth and their families.
  • Assist caregivers in navigating systems, to promote their awareness of resources and access to supports.
  • Empower caregivers with skills and strategies to support their youth's behavioral health needs.
  • Create care plans and interventions to support skill-based growth for clients.
  • Promote and strengthen family's natural supports to foster a welcoming and supportive community for the youth.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with the youth, parents, and other providers to ensure close collaboration and coordination of care.
  • Ensure that client's rights are respected, particularly in regard to cultural competency.
  • Collaborate with other community-based organizations to provide services and care for clients.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling or related field.
  • Driving in the community is a requirement of this position; please ensure you have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
