In-Home Caregiver (Non-Medical) Day & Night 12 hour shifts - Brazos Home Care : Job Details

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and detail-oriented In-Home Caregiver to provide non-medical support for a client in a private residence. The ideal candidate will maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment while supporting daily hygiene, medication documentation, and household upkeep.

Responsibilities:

• Respect Client Boundaries:
  • Do not enter the client's bedroom or personal restroom
• Daily Hygiene & Personal Care:
  • Ensure the client showers at least every other day
  • Clean and empty the bedside commode after every use
• Household Tasks:
  • Empty restroom and kitchen trash at the end of each shift
  • Wash and dry all clothing and blankets in use
  • Clean, dry, and properly store all dishes
  • Maintain overall cleanliness and organization throughout the home
• Medication Oversight:
  • Document all medications administered daily
  • Observe and record any side effects or unusual symptoms

Requirements:

• Previous caregiving experience required
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain professional boundaries
• Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene
• MUST be reliable and punctual
