The Implementation Consultant is a high-visibility, client-facing position that significantly influences our clients' success. Consultants advise and guide customers through the software implementation lifecycle, assisting in their transition from their old solutions to Tyler products. Our consultants are committed to delivering high-quality, product-oriented software solutions that meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Represent Tyler's Mission, Vision, and Values in daily interactions with clients and teammates.
- Provide exceptional client experiences through quality software implementation and consulting.
- Educate users on software functionality, data entry, system administration, user security, and permissions.
- Analyze client business models to identify and document requirements for Tyler products.
- Recommend new approaches to improve client workflows and ensure efficient solutions.
- Document business/technical requirements for software design, forms, reports, interfaces, and configurations.
- Guide clients through data mapping and conversion processes, supporting data review and issue resolution.
- Assist in troubleshooting during implementation, coordinating with other departments as needed.
- Maintain documentation, communicate project status, and support testing activities.
- Identify and report potential risks, developing mitigation strategies.
- Create client-facing and internal documentation, including training materials.
- Act as liaison between clients and technical teams, conveying technical info clearly.
- Provide feedback to the product team and participate in knowledge sharing and process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to the Statement of Work (SOW) and project scope.
- Develop and deliver training to clients, including end-user training.
- Travel extensively to client sites as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least three years' experience implementing enterprise software.
- Familiarity with cloud/SaaS applications.
- Minimum one year as an Associate Implementation Consultant or similar experience.
- Experience in business process analysis and implementation.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for varied audiences.
- Experience working with local government software is preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Valid driver's license.
