Immediate Warehouse Worker Opening - Performance Foodservice : Job Details

Job Description:

• Compensation: $21.00 per hour with additional incentives.
• Work Schedule: Four nights a week (Sunday - Friday, no Saturdays).
• Hours: 5:30 PM until finish.

Position Overview:

In this role, you will select cases of food and non-food products from our multi-level warehouse storage systems to fulfill customer orders. You will operate electric pallet jacks or forklifts to move completed orders to the loading dock, ensuring all safety regulations and quality standards are adhered to while efficiently managing product flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to safety policies and company guidelines, reporting any unsafe conditions promptly.
• Prepare for operations by reviewing the work schedule and gathering necessary supplies. Conduct safety checks on equipment.
• Meet productivity and accuracy benchmarks set by the company.
• Operate pallet jacks to locate and retrieve products from storage locations based on order sheets.
• Manually place stock items on pallets as needed, ensuring proper handling.
• Transport completed orders to the shipping dock staging area, preparing them for shipment.
• Maintain and inspect equipment, ensuring safe operation at all times.
• Perform additional related duties as required by management.

Qualifications:

• Regular attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when necessary.
• Capability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items repeatedly throughout your shift.
• Able to lift and move products weighing between 10-35 pounds regularly, with some items reaching up to 90 pounds depending on the location.
• Experience working in varying temperature environments, including coolers and freezers.
• Must pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
