Imaging Assistant (SW) - CharterCare Health Partners : Job Details

Under the direction of the Lead Technologist, is responsible for assisting the CT, technologist with the performance of exams such as moving patient to exam table, positioning of patient, retrieving films and supplies, transporting of patient when necessary, obtaining patient information and screening of patient. Position involves interaction with various physician s offices and nursing floors and order entry into RIS (Radiology Information System). The Assistant must show clinical competence in direct patient care during CT procedures. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Licensure: CPR Certification Required. CNA license preferred. Experience: Computer experience, medical terminology. Skills and Abilities: Ability to follow complicated, diversified instructions.
