This job provides support for staff and patient care within the assigned imaging department. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Transports patients to and from clinical areas and verifies patient identity according to policies and procedures. Assists technologists with preparing patients for procedures. (30%)Performs postprocedural duties including patient discharge, room clean up and restocking supplies. Assists with inventory control. (30%)Assists technologists with delivering and retrieving patient reports/imaging, entering data, in electronic medical records, import and export through appropriate means and methods. (20%)Provides nonclinical support to the department as necessary. (20%)Any other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum. High school diploma or GED; or one to three months experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceCPR American Heart Association.
