IL RN Endo - PRN - Deaconess Health System : Job Details

An Endoscopy Nurse (ENDO RN) is responsible for providing specialized care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopies, gastroscopies, and bronchoscopies. They assist physicians during procedures, monitor patients' vital signs, administer sedation and pain management, and ensure patient comfort and safety. Endoscopy nurses also educate patients on pre- and post-procedure care, manage equipment, and maintain sterile environments. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle both routine and emergency situations in a fast-paced setting. Endoscopy nurses typically work in outpatient clinics, hospitals, or surgical centers. Experience: At least Two-year previous experience in clinical unit REQUIRED.
