IHCS Support Service Professional - Keystone Community Resources : Job Details

_We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Direct Care Worker to provide Companion Care services to individuals who require support with daily living activities and companionship. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering emotional support, engaging in meaningful activities, and providing light assistance with daily routines. _ Key Responsibilities: Offer companionship through conversation, recreational activities, and emotional support Support clients with errands, shopping, and transportation to appointments Encourage and assist clients in maintaining independence and social connections Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior Follow client care plans and maintain accurate documentation Requirements: Genuine passion for supporting others and improving their well-being Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Reliable, patient, and respectful of clients' privacy and dignity Background Check Previous experience in aged care or disability support (preferred but not required) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Scheduling needs: 2-3 weekdays from 1030am-230pm Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week Shift: Day shift License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: Scranton, PA 18510 (Required) Work Location: In person
