Ignition Application Engineer - Walker Elliott : Job Details

Our client is looking for an Ignition Application Engineer candidate who will engage directly with customers to ascertain their project needs. Our client specializes in the remote collection, presentation, and control of measurement and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. Candidates should possess a solid grasp of information technology and thrive in an environment that fosters both teamwork and independent creativity. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with clients to define requirements for their SCADA systems. • Participate in all project phases, from assisting sales to documentation and support. • Execute special projects and tasks related to in-house and third-party software. Qualifications and Skills: • Preferably hold a Bachelor's degree in Business or STEM. • Expertise in Ignition, specifically Perspective module. • Experience with view and component design, tag integration, scripting, responsive design. • Proficient in programming and troubleshooting. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Knowledge of control systems is advantageous. • Additional expertise in Visual Basic Scripting, Visual Basic for Applications, Windows Operating Systems (Server and Desktop), Microsoft SQL Server, CRM, AUTOSOL ACM/AES Role is remote.
