As a Data Scientist/AI Engineer focusing on Wargaming Integration at NATO's Allied Command Transformation (ACT), you will support the development and integration of AI capabilities into NATO's wargaming and digital transformation efforts. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance military decision-making tools through AI and data analytics.

• Support the integration of AI into NATO's wargaming activities and broader digital initiatives.
• Collaborate with wargaming experts to identify AI enhancement opportunities.
• Develop and implement data collection, analysis, and visualization methods for wargaming datasets.
• Create real-time analytics and visualizations to aid decision-making during simulations.
• Assist in designing experiments to test AI applications in military scenarios.
• Ensure data integrity and security, adhering to NATO principles.
• Document findings and develop multimedia content to support wargaming scenarios.
• Participate in relevant workshops, training, and travel as needed.

• University degree in Data Science, AI, ML, Computer Science, or equivalent experience (minimum 4 years in relevant fields).
• At least 3 years of experience integrating AI into practical applications, including decision support and simulations.
• Proficiency with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and integration techniques.
• Experience with generative AI models, especially Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Skills in data analysis and visualization tools (Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
• Understanding of wargaming principles and strategic AI applications.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience managing AI projects and developing multimedia AI tools.
• Knowledge of data security and ethical AI use.

The role requires up to 30 days of travel per year. The position is based in Norfolk, VA, with a security clearance of NATO Secret.
