Job DetailsJob Location LSC- Child & Family Services- Winston Salem, NC (Homebased) - Winston Salem, NC Position Type Full Time Salary Range $70000.00 Salary Travel Percentage None Job Shift First Shift Description IAFT Clinician will provide therapy to clients in the IAFT programs to include family therapy with their family and/or natural supports. Clinician will also be a part of the IAFT team and participate in team meetings. This is a remote position, but you will be expected to visit locations in Winston Salem and surrounding areas. Essential Functions: 1. Provide individual and family therapy using evidenced based interventions and practices. 2. Possess strong knowledge of the Collaborative Problem Solving model to help bridge therapy and the model that is being used in the treatment home. 3. Contribute, collaborate, and participate in child and family team meetings either face to face, telephonically, or web-based. 4. Contribute, collaborate, and participate weekly clinical team meetings 5. Maintain progress notes and therapy notes in Kaleidacare database in a timely manner. 6. Complete Comprehensive Clinical Assessments, as needed. 7. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and agency information. 8. Abide by licensing board requirements. 9. Adhere to all federal, state, and LSC policies and procedures. 10. Complete the minimum requirements for continuing education each year. Qualifications Education: Master's degree in counseling, social work or related human service field. Licensure preferred (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) preferred, provisionally licensed required. Experience: Three years clinical experience as a therapist. Specific skills/abilities: (1)Training or experience in family systems in treating individuals and families; (2) Knowledge and experience in treating traumatized persons; (3) Awareness and sensitivity to the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics; (4) Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and experience diagnosing especially with children and adolescents; (5) knowledge of psychotropic medications; (6) Strong oral and written communication skills; (7) must excel in multi-tasking and ability to communicate effectively with all groups of people. Specialized knowledge, licenses, etc: Licensed or Certified by state in a therapy related discipline (or in the process of becoming certified or licensed)
