Thompson Industrial, a Clean Harbors Company, is eager to hire a Hydroblasting Technician Specialist to work at various customer locations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to become part of our safety-focused team! As a Hydroblasting Technician Specialist, you will play a vital role in setting up and assisting with water treatment systems, pipeline hydrostatic testing, and more. You will represent Thompson Industrial while developing strong relationships with our clients and customers.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Industrial settings such as Refineries, Petro-Chemical plants, Utilities, Pulp and Paper Mills, etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to policies and procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Operate manual and automated hydroblasting equipment effectively.
• Handle specialized equipment, including Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
• Energize and operate hydroblasting, chemical cleaning, and vacuum equipment.
• Inspect surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards set by the company and customers.
• Perform routine and essential maintenance on all equipment used, including industrial vacuums.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Vocational preparation through safety training, on-the-job experience, or related roles.
• Ability to understand English sufficiently to follow safety training and respond in emergency situations.
• A valid driver's license and compliance with the company's driving policy.
• OSHA certification may be required.
• Familiarity with emergency equipment operations, such as fire extinguishers.
• Possession of a Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be necessary.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Valid Driver's License.
