Hybrid Senior Facilities Manager - Capital Improvement Position OverviewThe Hybrid Senior Facilities Manager - Capital Improvementwill oversee and lead the planning, execution, and management of capital projects within the heavy industrial manufacturing sector. This role is responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards, while also enhancing operational efficiency and facility capabilities.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple capital projects from conception through execution and completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts for all facility-related projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, construction, and operations to achieve project objectives.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to contract terms and performance expectations.
  • Utilize SAP for project tracking, reporting, and budget management.
  • Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • PMP certification is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in capital project management within the heavy industrial manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with capital improvement projects and EPC methodologies.
  • Proficiency in construction contract management and negotiation.
  • Excellent budgeting and forecasting skills, with a track record of managing project finances effectively.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
