Job DetailsThis individual will oversee key areas of the accounting function, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, support monthly close processes, and lead process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a CPA with a blend of public accounting and industry experience.Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Manage preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Lead the implementation and monitoring of internal controls and accounting policies in accordance with GAAP.
• Collaborate with FP&A, tax, operations, and project development teams to support business initiatives.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit process.
• Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights to senior leadership.
• Assist with technical accounting research, including new standards (e.g., revenue recognition, leases, consolidation).
• Support integration of new projects, systems, or acquisitions into the accounting framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's a plus.
• Active CPA license preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a combination of public accounting (Big 4 or national firm preferred) and industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control best practices.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
• Manufacturing and distribution experience preferred
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
