The Food & Beverage Supervisor assists the Food and Beverage Manager in ensuring high-quality Food and Beverage service while adhering to budgeted payroll and overhead costs. The role also involves working to improve Food and Beverage sales revenues beyond the set budget. Exempt associates are expected to work as much of each workday as necessary to fulfill their responsibilities, with OEM associates required to work a minimum of 47.5 hours per week.

• At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in a related field is helpful.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate options quickly and accurately.
• Proactive with a strong initiative.
• Ability to work well under stress and maintain composure.

• Understand the organization and functions of each hotel department.
• Assist in managing food and beverage costs.
• Communicate effectively with staff and motivate team members.
• Monitor cash overages and shortages.
• Maintain service standards and quality control.
• Handle accidents, problems, or guest complaints promptly.
• Be familiar with emergency procedures and safety equipment.
• Apply consistent disciplinary actions as needed.
• Understand and utilize the hotel's POS system.
• Ensure staff are attentive, helpful, and courteous.
• Assist with wage and productivity reports, scheduling, inventories, and promotional activities.
• Participate in meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
