HVACR & CONTROLS TECHNICIAN - Central Michigan University : Job Details

Performs skilled work in the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) systems in addition to HVACR controls and energy management systems. Required Qualifications Education equivalent to completion of an Associates Degree in HVAC or a combination of education and experience that equates to two years in HVACR. Two years of HVACR experience. Possession of Type II or IV Refrigerant Handling Technician Certification. Possession of a valid drivers license. Ability to obtain a cooling tower treatment, category 5 B pesticide applicator certification within one year of employment. Working knowledge of HVACR controls and the ability to install/adjust digital and pneumatic control circuits. Working knowledge of computer controllers and related equipment. Ability to work from blueprints, diagrams, and schematics. Demonstrated ability to follow and/or interpret oral and written directions.
